Paul Robeson at the House Un-American Activities Committee – YouTube
FROM FACEBOOK:
This is totally badass and a MUST listen!!! Paul Robeson vs The House Un-American Activities Committee!!!
If you havent heard of Paul Robeson, he was and is an unsung genius and was nothing short of a true Renaissance man for lack of a better term. Not only was he one of the GREATEST concert singers of his era, but also an accomplished Actor, a Ivy league Grad Lawyer, an inducted into the Hall of Fame athlete, very famous in his time, spoke many languages, and most importantly, a civil rights activist who laid the groundwork for the modern day civil rights movement in racist white AmeriKKKa. He like Kaepernick of today, spoke out against white supremacist racism, stood up for his people and was more than willing to pay any price! His boldness lead pure evil racist white AmeriKKKa to tried and break him,… destroy him via labeling him a traitor, assassinating his character, lynch him in absentia, restrict his travel and work to try and end his careers,.. but he NEVER waivered against the evils he faced or the many sacrifices to be made!!!! A TRUE CIVIL RIGHTS REVOLUTIONARY AND A FOUNDING FATHER OF THE MOVEMENT!!!!

45 years ago, John Lennon invited a founding Black Panthers member onto a famous American talk show – YouTube
Here is a short clip that explains why the black panther party was targeted and destroyed by the United States government.
They were set up to become the very needed 3rd party that while looking out for black communities. They were also concerned about the poor and oppressed of this nation regardless of skin color, faith, etc. Lunch program, clothing programs, and medical programs were established.
Not in the interest of profit,
but in the interest of the people.
They respected people’s right to arm and defend themselves. While acknowledging that not everyone should be allowed to own gun. They had begun to help establish like minded organizations within white, asian, and latino communities.
Then they were systematically targeted.
Many of the communities they help to build up. Were flooded with a new highly addictive drug.
Laws were altered to limit their gun rights while giving law enforcement increased power to harass and harm members.
And prominent leader were systematically killed off or jailed.
Pretty messed up story that few outside of the black community even know about.
