LIVING FROM THE HEART

View this post on Instagram

The heart is the largest generator of electromagnetic energy in the body, and measurements show the frequency of the heart’s energy field is five thousand times stronger than the brain. The heart field moves at the speed of light and extends up to 12 feet around the body. The heart communicates with the brain in several ways: neurologically (transmission of nerve impulses), biochemically (hormones and neurotransmitters) and biophysically (pressure waves). Now we have evidence of direct, coherent energetic communication through electromagnetic field interactions as well. Using electrocardiographic (ECG) and electroencephalographic (EEG) instruments (for measuring heart and brain waves) it has even been scientifically verified that when two people are in proximity of each other the heart field of one person affects the brainwaves of another. Not only is the energy and information flowing through your heart’s energy field transmitted throughout your body and brain, but it interacts with other people as well, communicating your internal state to the environment. When you truly begin to live from a heart centric perspective not only do you change yourself, you can change the world which why the world will only change by selfless genuine acts of kindness. When you heal yourself you heal the world. You Should Never Be Ashamed Of Your Natural Black Hair, Embrace It

If you follow a Eurocentric standard of beauty it could destroy your self-esteem as a melanated man or woman. You will learn to hate your melanin, wish your hair was straight, and try to become something you are not.

Listen here, contrary to popular belief having “nappy” hair is actually a dominant trait. Genetically speaking, having straight blonde hair is recessive trait. So while America tries to make you feel ashamed or out of place for having natural black hair remember that the original humans on planet earth had “nappy” hair.

I’ve noticed a trend over the past 5-10 years or so of black people embracing their natural self more and more. These days it’s no strange thing to find important public figures, politicians or just ordinary citizens with locs, a natural fro, or some sort of unique afrocentric hair style.

Teach your children about slavery’s evil past so they can understand its many influences on the present | Jenice Armstrong

My great-grandfather Robert Armstrong was born on a plantation in Clover, S.C., around 1850, and held in captivity until slavery ended in 1865.

Slave owner Jesse Armstrong valued Robert, who was a child at the time, at $800, according to his last will and testament. I treasure a black-and-white photo of Robert and every shred of what I can remember of my late father’s recollections, shared on Sundays at the dining room table. They are links to my family’s not-so-distant past — a past that I try not to dwell on for obvious reasons

Illinois Cop Shoots Unarmed Black 12-Year-Old in Bed With His Hands Up in Botched Raid, Then Blatantly Tries to Cover It Up

A gang of SWAT officers “terrorized” innocent children when they barged into a Chicago home during a predawn raid and shot an unarmed 12-year-old sitting in bed with his hands up, an Illinois mother’s lawsuit alleges.
