Born in Arembepe in 1950, Mestre Lua’s journey in Capoeira Angola began at a young age when he started training under the guidance of Mestre Bobó, also known as Mr. Milton Santos. In his role as a master, Mestre Lua has nurtured and mentored several capoeiristas, including his own children, Eri and Ari, who have been actively involved in Capoeira Angola from a young age. The opening of the group’s headquarters in 2005 marked another significant achievement, providing a permanent space for the GCAMA Group to thrive and perpetuate the traditions of Capoeira Angola.
