Hello Everyone,
Have you ever pondered the mysteries of our future? Contemplated the path that lies ahead? I, too, had not given it much thought, until I delved into the world of Capoeira Angola. This multifaceted art form is a captivating journey, akin to tumbling down a rabbit hole, leading to a myriad of diverse experiences. As one immerses oneself in the study of Capoeira Angola, the world begins to unfold with new perspectives and boundless opportunities for exploration. Through the lens of this ancient art, familiar surroundings are infused with fresh meaning, and one gains a renewed sense of appreciation for the intricacies of our existence. It is through this practice that one truly learns to perceive the world through a transformed gaze, and the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
Anyway, I want you to watch this fascinating video I linked to this webpage.
For me, this film represents the sad state of our whole way of life, how certain entities have led us to live our lives in a way that is not sustainable, and have kept us separated from each other in order to better control us, and how this separation is the very thing that is destroying us…
And also, the film represents our tremendous potential to come together, and create a beautiful world based on love and understanding, the way we were meant to live, once we wake up and free ourselves from what is keeping us apart.

You see, we are living in exceptional times. We conspire to get ahead of the next guy, to brutally compete with one another for the sustenance (money) to purchase life, to make ourselves look perfect so we could be liked by others.
If we don’t change the way WE ARE LIVING, dismantle the system we are living in, and in the process, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth’s climate, then we, as a species, are going to die very soon.
Either this earth we’re living on will become just another lifeless elliptical ball of a planet floating through space just like the other 8 lifeless planets in our solar system, or worse yet, we and our descendants end up living like something out of MAD MAX, or THE BOOK OF ELI, or our children, and their children will live in a totalitarian dictatorship the likes of which will make NORTH KOREA look like a democratic paradise…

THIS WILL HAPPEN unless we get up, come together as a species and DO SOMETHING.

To truly address the challenges we face, it’s imperative for us, as a collective, to undergo a profound shift in our mindset and awaken from the illusion in which we currently exist. This awakening entails a reevaluation of our values, priorities, and actions as a species. It involves recognizing the interconnections of all life on this planet and embracing a holistic perspective that considers the well-being of not only ourselves but also the entire ecosystem. By embracing a more sustainable, compassionate, and inclusive way of living, we can strive to create a harmonious coexistence with the natural world and foster a more equitable and thriving future for all.
“We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive.”
~ Albert Einstein
Many philosophers and thinkers throughout history have emphasized the importance of altering our perspectives and ways of thinking. From Socrates to Descartes, the notion of questioning assumptions and reevaluating established beliefs has been central to intellectual discourse. The concept of paradigm shifts, as introduced by Thomas Kuhn in the context of scientific revolutions, underscores the significance of altering entrenched viewpoints for progress and innovation.
The allegory of the fish in water is a powerful illustration of the subconscious nature of our ingrained thoughts and perceptions. Just as a fish is immersed in water without recognizing it as a distinct environment, we often fail to discern the implicit biases and preconceptions that shape our understanding of the world. This phenomenon underscores the profound challenge of recognizing and transcending our deeply embedded ways of thinking.
In contemporary society, where technological advancements and societal changes occur at an unprecedented pace, the need to adapt our thinking becomes ever more pressing. The complexities of global challenges, such as climate change, societal inequalities, and geopolitical conflicts, call for a transformative shift in mindset. Our ability to confront these pressing issues and envision a sustainable future hinges upon our capacity to embrace new paradigms and approaches.
Moreover, the evolution of human consciousness and collective understanding underscores the imperative of fostering a new manner of thinking. As we navigate an increasingly interconnected world, characterized by diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary knowledge, the cultivation of open-mindedness and intellectual flexibility becomes essential. Embracing a holistic and adaptive mindset can empower individuals and communities to navigate uncertainty and change with resilience and creativity.
In essence, the call to change our way of thinking is not merely a philosophical or abstract ideal. It is a pragmatic necessity for addressing the complexities of the contemporary human experience. By acknowledging the pervasive influence of our existing thought patterns and committing to transformative growth, we can contribute to the flourishing of our species and the advancement of civilization. Such a shift in thinking embodies the essence of human progress and offers a profound opportunity for the betterment of our shared global community.
So, what does this have to do with capoeira?
As anyone who’s been a part of capoeira for a long time knows, this is a way of life that can develop you not only physically and mentally, but spiritually as well. When you go deeply into capoeira, you learn to start thinking in a new way. A way where you realize that there’s much more to life than working, going home, sitting at home while eating your way to an early grave, not being able to wait for the weekend when you can party, and spend all your hard earned money buying useless stuff, until Monday comes and you have to do it all over again.
You’ll start to look at life with a pair of different eyes, where you’ll be able to see behind the masks we all put on in this society for the world to see, kind of like realizing that the everyday routine is just a never-ending cycle that sometimes feels suffocating. This different perspective allows you to appreciate the present moment, finding joy in simple things, and experiencing connections with others in a deeper and more meaningful way.
It’s about breaking free from the societal pressures and expectations, and embracing a more authentic way of living. Capoeira becomes a reflection of life itself, teaching perseverance, adaptability, and the beauty of embracing our unique individuality, both on and off the roda. It’s not just a physical and mental practice, but a profound journey of self-discovery and a way of redefining one’s path in this world.
And then you’ll WAKE UP, you’ll look around and start to see how certain things in our society is F*^KED UP, and you’ll start doing things to change the world around you.
You may find that as you awaken, your perception of the world will gradually intensify. You will begin to recognize the myriad ways in which certain aspects of our society are flawed, and this realization may inspire within you an impassioned desire to initiate meaningful change within your sphere of influence. This awakening can be a catalyst for transformative action, propelling you to become an agent of positive change within your community and beyond.
For the better, I hope.
But anyway, before you start your activism, a word of caution: People might start to see you as a nutcase.
It’s important to consider how others may perceive your actions when engaging in activism. While standing up for what you believe in is commendable, it’s also crucial to approach advocacy in a way that fosters understanding and open dialogue. Being labeled as a “nutcase” may hinder your ability to effectively communicate your message and achieve your desired impact. Therefore, finding a balance between passion and reason, and effectively articulating your perspective, can help you avoid being unfairly stigmatized and instead be seen as a thoughtful and passionate advocate.
Let’s explore why.
Con·spir·a·cy The·o·ry
noun: conspiracy theory; plural noun: conspiracy theories
- An explanation for an event or situation that invokes a conspiracy by sinister and powerful groups, often political in motivation, when other explanations are more probable.
As we all know, this term has a negative connotation, implying that the appeal to a conspiracy is based on prejudice or insufficient evidence. It’s important to recognize that the term “conspiracy theory” has evolved over time and is often used to dismiss alternative explanations or dissenting viewpoints. However, it’s crucial to approach such theories with critical thinking and open-mindedness, considering all available evidence before drawing conclusions. In some cases, what is initially labeled as a conspiracy theory may later be supported by verifiable facts and credible sources. Therefore, while skepticism is healthy, it’s also important to keep an open mind and engage in thoughtful analysis rather than outright dismissal.
Now, the subject matter I’m typing about on this page isn’t as funny as this comedic sketch was, but this clip does illustrate how most of the populace view this subject.
I’m not going to go too much more into this topic, except to say that if you start talking about some of the things in this article, people will lump you into the conspiracy theorist category.
And also, click HERE to watch a list of conspiracy theories, straight from Wikipedia.
Now, I found this video on YouTube. Apparently it was BANNED, an in order to get it back on YouTube, they had to censor it. However, you can watch the FULL and complete unedited four-hour version by clicking HERE.
Is anything on this video true? Well, even the creators of the video tell you to take this with a grain of salt. However, I think that this information is worth thinking about.
It’s important to approach information with a critical mindset, particularly in the age of abundant content available online. While the creators of the video advise taking the information with a grain of salt, it’s still valuable to consider the points presented. This cautious approach allows viewers to engage with the content thoughtfully and encourages critical thinking. Evaluating information from diverse sources and questioning its validity is essential in forming well-rounded perspectives.

Now like I typed before, this web page is dedicated to exploring and sharing new ways of thinking.

Now, we all know that this will NOT be an easy task, by ANY means.
I mean, I AM talking about transforming an ENTIRE SOCIETY here.
People often resist change because they fear the unknown. They may say that we can’t change the way things are; others will ridicule us for even trying, they’ll say we’re crazy, we’re losing our minds, and so on. It can be daunting to face criticism and skepticism, but history is filled with examples of individuals and movements that defied such resistance and brought about positive change. It’s important to stay true to our beliefs and aspirations, even when faced with opposition. Embracing change can lead to growth and progress, and sometimes it takes a few “crazy” individuals to lead the way. So, let’s not be discouraged by naysayers and instead strive to make a difference, one step at a time.
and often times our efforts will FAIL far more than they will succeed.
But don’t get discouraged…
YOU ARE NEVER TOO SMALL TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Yes, we may never know when our efforts will succeed, or even if they will at all, but we DO know what will happen if we don’t do the work:
NOTHING.
Now, I leave you with this message of hope. It’s often said that to chance the world for the better, you have to BE THE CHANGE you want to see. Well, in the video clip below, is a trailer to a documentary about people actually living that reality. They, like us are the hope for this planet, because they learned to LOVE this planet, and treat it the way we would our mother.
FOR THE EARTH IS OUR MOTHER.
You can buy and watch the film by clicking HERE.
The future holds the promise of transformation, a world evolving before our very eyes. It resonates with a call to unity, urging us to collectively embody the change we yearn for, and to actively shape our destinies. Imperfect as we are, our efforts will give rise to a world superior to the present one.
“The world is before you, and you need not take it or leave it as it was when you came in.”
~ James Baldwin
My brothers my sisters, my fellow human beings, it’s time.
IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP
