Matthew James Ruth was a 24-year-old man from Penn Township, York County, Pennsylvania, identified as the gunman in a fatal shooting that occurred in North Codorus Township on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. This incident resulted in the deaths of three police officers and injuries to two others. But it was what happened afterwards that was truly strange…or not!
