Not only were they confined to a shed in appalling living conditions, with no access to basic necessities or comforts, but they were also made to perform grueling labor under the most deplorable circumstances. The exploitation and maltreatment of these innocent children as virtual slaves is a despicable and inhumane act that should have been identified and prevented long before their adoptive parents were finally brought to justice.
